If you want to make lots of money when your lvl 85, Jewel crafting + Mining are your best bet at becoming rich. With mining you travel around (best used on a flying mount) and mine mineral veins using your [mining pick] that you have to buy from a general trade vendor for about 50c. (cheap)
and then with Jewel crafting you need to use [prospecting] on all the mineral ore that you have mined and you will receive [Gems] These are extremely valuable on WoW and as soon as you start getting stacks of 20, go to the AH (auction house) and sell them for whatever price is going lowest - this will give your items more chance of being bought.
